As specified by Ministry of Transport regulations, every UK vehicle that’s three or more years old must take and pass an MOT test each year. It’s a legal requirement, and the test certificate needs to be renewed annually, so motorists should keep an eye on when their next MOT is due. During the test, more than 150 parts, systems and operations are checked – from the front lights and wipers through to the tyres, wheels and suspension. Should any faults with your Land Rover be identified, we can make adjustments and repairs on site using genuine parts.
We have official Land Rover MOT test centre status at our dealerships in Ayr and Inverness, giving drivers in the region a convenient and affordable choice for their annual test. All vehicles are put through pre-checks before we start, to flag up any issues that you might not have noticed. On passing, we’ll supply you and your vehicle with the official VT20 certificate, which is a test receipt and a copy of the data stored on the central MOT database. If we’ve made any repairs or maintenance to your Land Rover in order for it to pass, this will also be noted on an accompanying VT32 document.
When your nest Land Rover MOT is due, contact us at Park’s in Ayr or Inverness to book your appointment. We’re also happy to provide more information about our test centre, MOT procedures and our competitive pricing.
