Seven years after it was first launched, the 2nd generation of the Range Rover Evoque has been revealed.
The eye-catching SUV, which starts from £31,600, follows the same popular design philosophy of its predecessor.
The exterior is cleaner than ever, with fewer lines and sophisticated touches. The interior is certainly compelling too. Options include Windsor leather, Kvadrat premium wool blends and Eucalyptus fibre textiles.
As for technology, state-of-the-art features have been incorporated. The infotainment system is designed to keep you connected at all times, while comfort and convenience are a high priority. Your media can be accessed through the car’s optional touchscreen.
Other options include Navigation Pro, Apple CarPlayTM and Android AutoTM, as well as many others.
To improve visibility, ClearSight interior rear view mirror and ClearSight Ground View have been introduced as options. They’re designed to enhance visibility and provide greater levels of confidence. Boot space has also been bolstered. With rear seats in place, the boot has been increased by 10 per cent (now 591 litres).
An innovative Mild Hybrid system (MHEV) is also now available. It works by harvesting the energy which is normally lost during deceleration and utilising it to maximise the engine’s efficiency. As well as this, sustainability is a major part of the Evoque’s design. 85 per cent is recyclable/re-usable and 95 per cent is recoverable at the end of the vehicle’s life cycle.
