The new Lamborghini Temerario is a milestone in Lamborghini design both inside and out. A typical Lamborghini silhouette on the exterior: clear and sharp lines, short and compact overhangs, integrated aerodynamics and a bold shark nose. With characteristic hexagon concepts throughout, noticeably in the daytime running lights and tail-lights, as well as the striking hexagonal exhaust pipe set just below a new spoiler design that combines both function and beauty.
The interior exemplifies the Lamborghini philosophy of ‘Feel like a pilot’. A low and ergonomic seating position offers the pilot and co-pilot a perfect connection and integration with the vehicle, and the newly-developed steering wheel takes inspiration from the racing world, allowing the driver to control the main driving functions, including driving modes – Cittá, Strada, Sport and Corsa, as well as three new dedicated hybrid modes – Recharge, Hybrid and Performance.
A new spaceframe chassis made entirely from aluminium increases torsional rigidity by 24% over the Legendary Huracán, and, thanks to a longer wheelbase, also creates a more spacious, comfortable and usable cabin with 34mm of additional headroom and 46mm of additional legroom.
The Temerario is the first super sports car in the history of Lamborghini to be equipped with a V8 twin-turbo engine paired with three electric motors. Setting a new standard for performance in its segment. It is in a crescendo that peaks at the astonishing 10,000RPM rev limit that the features of the new V8 twin-turbo engine truly shine, creating a complete, all-embracing sensory experience. Combined with the three electric motors, overall power output is a mind-blowing 907bhp.
Debuting on the new Lamborghini Temerario: Drift Mode. Controlled through the racing inspired steering wheel, the Drift Mode is adjustable according to three different levels of driver engagement. From level 1, which facilitates oversteer while maintaining a limited drift angle, up to
level three, dedicated to expert drivers to allow a wide drift angle.
In another first, the Lamborghini Temerario offers customers the option of equipping a new model with the more track-orientated ‘Alleggerita (lightweight) Package’. The extensive use of lightweight materials reduces weight and maximises performance. The result is a weight saving of more than 25kg (when incorporating optional carbon rims), a 67% increase in total downforce and a 62% improvement in aerodynamic efficiency.
