Renault and Dacia cars and vans are fitted wiring looms which connect all the electronic equipment to the engine management system which act on feedback from sensors around the vehicle to change the characteristics and operation of some key components.

An example is the braking circuit which uses sensors to detecting a wheel locking up under braking to activate the ABS system to rapidly pulse the brake pad on to the brake disc to avoid skidding and maintain steering ability under heavy braking.

A warning light on your dashboard indicates a sensor has detected a fault with your vehicle, please call us as soon as you can, we can plug your Renault or Dacia in to our diagnostic system and quickly find the fault. When a sensor detects a fault it records a fault code and the mileage it happened at.
