According to regulations from the Ministry of Transport, every UK vehicle that is three years old or over is legally required to take and pass an MOT test annually. The certificate for the test expires after 12 months, so you must make sure that you have your Renault retested at the same time each year. Over 150 systems and components are checked during a full MOT, both inside and outside the vehicle. If there are any faults found with your car, we can resolve these at our dealership with genuine Renault products.
Our network of Park’s Renault dealerships has an official MOT test centre on site at every location, allowing us to support Scottish motorists in keeping their car road-legal. In advance of the test starting, we’ll pre-check your vehicle for any issues you might not have noticed, so you have an idea of the work needed whether your Renault passes or not. The official VT20 certificate will be awarded on passing the MOT, and it is both a copy of the information on the main MOT database and your test receipt. If we’ve repaired or fitted anything to your car, this will be noted on an additional VT32 document for you.
