All vehicles in the UK that are three or more years old must complete a full MOT test annually. This is part of the Ministry of Transport’s regulations, and is a legal requirement for every driver. As the test certificate expires after 12 months, it’s important to know when your Nissan’s next MOT is due to take place.
During the test, more than 150 individual parts and systems throughout the car are checked, from the engine and suspension to the wheels and tyres. In the unexpected event that an issue with your Nissan is found, we’ll resolve it on site using genuine parts.
We provide an official MOT testing centre within all of our Park’s Nissan dealerships, supporting drivers in Irvine, Ayr and East Kilbride with convenient and competitively-priced service. Before we start the test, one of our technicians will perform a thorough pre-check of your vehicle to flag up any faults you may not have been aware of. To confirm that your Nissan has passed, we provide the official VT20 test certificate. This acts as both your test receipt and a copy of the information about your car held on the central MOT database. An additional VT32 document will be included if we perform any other work on your vehicle.
When you’re ready to arrange your next Nissan MOT test with us, or if you’d like more information about our test centres, contact Park’s today.
