The Volvo range includes Plug-in hybrid SUV and Estate options. A plug-in hybrid vehicle (PHEV) combines a traditional combustion engine alongside a battery-powered electric motor. The electric motor is charged by being plugged in and also through regenerative braking during your drive. With plug-in hybrid vehicles, you also have the opportunity to travel in pure electric mode for shorter journeys. Alternatively, you also have the choice of power mode and hybrid mode at the touch of a button.
