Every UK vehicle that is three years old or over must take and pass an MOT test each year. The test is a legal requirement from the government, and must be retaken when the certificate expires after 12 months. More than 150 individual systems and parts are checked during the MOT, including the wheels and tyres, engine, and suspension. If any part has stopped working, or isn’t performing at its best, we can fix the issue on site with genuine Volvo components.
At Park’s, we have a Volvo MOT test centre on site for the convenience of drivers in Ayr. Our technicians will check your vehicle before the test starts, pinpointing any underlying problems that you may not have noticed. When your vehicle passes the test, we’ll provide the official VT20 test certificate, which is both your receipt for the MOT and a record of the information stored on the main MOT database. If we need to service or repair your car, this will be noted on an extra VT32 document.
When it’s time to arrange a Volvo MOT test, simply contact us at Park’s in Ayr to make your appointment. You can also ask our team for more information about our test centre and the MOT itself.
