The Proace is a practical and economic van and comes in three lengths short, medium and long with short-wheelbase long-wheelbase, as crew van with seating for six. With two roof heights and three body lengths with load volumes of 6 cubic metres or 7 cubic metres - the payload for the van is either 1,000kg or 1,200kg and can pull braked trailers between 1,435kg and 2,000kg. The crew cab option comes with three seats in the second row and a fixed full height bulkhead; it comes with a compartment volume of 3.6 cubic metres and a maximum payload of 1,000kg.
There are eight colours to choose from on the Proace and lots of add-ons available like Toyota Safety Sense which will add Rain Sensor & Thermal insulated Windshield Glass, Auto Headlights, Adaptive Cruise Control, Head up display and Pro Touch Multimedia system to name a few. The Premium Pack is available as well and will add 17” alloys and Navigation system.
There are four levels of trim with the Proace. Choose Active, Icon, Design or Combi; the Active Grade model that comes with 16” steel wheels, power windows and sliding doors on each side, Bluetooth, VSC (vehicle stability control), Air Con, Fog Lamps and heated electric door mirrors. You can specify plain or glazed double steel rear doors. Where fitted, the rear windows are heated and have a wash-wipe system. Along with all of this kit you can also get DAB Radio, Smart Cargo System, USB Connector, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Daytime Running Lights, Cruise Control, Front Coolbox and Stop Start. This van really is packed full of everything you need. Where the Design Grade Model adds 17" machined-face alloy wheels with wheel caps (5-triple-spoke), Toyota Safety Sense (Pre-Collision System with pedestrian detection, Head-Up Display and Acoustic and Athermic Windscreen, front fog lights and Smart Entry/Push-button Start as well as a 7” Toyota Pro-Touch 7” screen with navigation, Manual air conditioning, Noise reduction layer on windshield.
The Proace gives you power to match its load-lugging ability and fuel efficiency that you’ll appreciate at the pumps. With two responsive diesel engines to choose from; 1.5 and 2.0 litre; three power outputs – from 100 DIN hp to 180 DIN hp; and two transmissions – 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic there’s a powertrain for every professional. By incorporating Stop & Start technology across the range, the Proace offers impressive fuel economy and CO2 emissions from 125 g/km.
