Introducing the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid, also known as
the ‘fifth generation’ RAV4.
With Toyota’s AWD-I intelligent all-wheel drive system, the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid combines the latest Toyota Hybrid technology with a highly efficient 2.5L petrol engine. It has a full system output of 302bhp which powers the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid from 0 to 62mph in just 6.2 seconds. And it delivers low emissions thanks to a new high capacity lithium-ion battery and enhanced hybrid power control unit, producing 29g/km C02 output.
Choosing from four driving modes; the driver has the ability to switch seamlessly from hybrid to pure EV driving allowing the RAV4 Plug-in Hybrid to reach more than 46 miles on electric power. The EV system is capable of powering RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid to speeds of up to 84mph without any intervention from the internal combustion engine.
The model has a unique exterior including darkened finishes to the grille mesh, grille surround and headlight extensions and metallic finishes on the front lower bumper which emphasises its width and stance. It’s complete with a 19” wheel design.
A carefully designed interior, with stylish upholstery designs; a ribbed pattern, contrast red detailing and ventilated seats; other options include luxurious quilted black leather seats, panoramic roof and head-up display. On board there is a 9” touchscreen to control your entertainment, information and connectivity functions, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as Toyota e-connected services allowing you to check the vehicles battery status and program your car charging.
