Skoda is in the spotlight at awards season!

Skoda has had a record awards season as it celebrates its best performance to date at Auto Express' ‘New Car Awards 2018’ and picks up the coveted title of 'New Car of the Year' at the annual Auto Trader awards. Renowned for its stylish, family-friendly models and outstanding value-for-money across the range, the Skoda brand is an increasingly popular choice for UK car owners.

The ‘Estate Car of the Year 2018’ was awarded to the Skoda Octavia Estate thanks to its incredibly spacious interior with up to 1,740 litres of space – allowing plenty of room to accommodate the whole family. Along with its roomy cabin and boot space, the Octavia Estate is equipped with an advanced infotainment system and a host of safety features.

With its sleek exterior and luxurious interior, the class-leading crossover, the Skoda Karoq, was crowned ‘Mid-size SUV of the Year 2018’, whilst its larger sibling, the seven-seater Skoda Kodiaq, was awarded ‘Large SUV of the Year 2018’ owing to its combination of sophisticated styling, practicality and affordability.

Fending off strong competition, the Skoda Octavia took home the title of 'New Car of the Year' at the Auto Trader awards, with features such as its safety tech, durability and affordability contributing to its success.
