Instantly identifiable by its signature spindle grille, this sporty hybrid crossover is a brave new approach to SUV thinking. Bold, yet elegantly sculpted the UX’s imposing front approach is framed by the streamlined, compact triple-projector LED units and L-shaped Daytime Running Lights forming Lexus’ signature arrowhead.
The rear features Areo Stabilising Rear Lights that stretch across the full width of the UX enhancing the models aerodynamic performance and acting as an impressive rear spoiler.
A low centre of gravity is key to the Lexus UX Self-Charging Hybrid’s
dynamic performance, and with a COG height of 594mm the UX has the
lowest of any vehicle in its class. It’s complemented by the MacPherson
strut front suspension and double wishbone arrangement at the rear that
has been engineered to promote a comfortable ride and sharp response.
The fourth-generation Self-Charging Hybrid 2.0-litre petrol engine achieves 0-62 mph in 8.5 seconds whilst lowering CO2 emissions. Around 51% of driving time is spent in Electric mode and has an average fuel consumption of 48.7 MPG delivering an extremely smooth and dynamic performance.
The driver-focused interior is everything you would expect from this luxury marque. Inspired by the Japanese paper grain known as washi the instrument panel is warm and inviting and evokes a sense of calm. Alternatively, you can opt for a leather-like grain which is available on selected packs and grades.
The Takumi-Crafted 3-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in genuine
leather and is available with heating for those cold winter mornings.
