The Lexus LM ushers in the Next Chapter of Lexus. This 'Luxury Mover' offers comfort, convenience, and quality. Cabins are available in 4-seater or 7-seater configurations.
The concept of "dignified elegance" that permeates the entire Hybrid New Lexus LM is sure to draw attention. By departing from the well-known design pillars of the Lexus brand, the New Lexus LM establishes a new identify with its condensed broad lower grille that is situated below a narrow opening at the bottom of the bonnet’s forefront, which connects to the headlights. The spacious and luxurious feel is created with the substantial glass area all-around and easy access sliding side doors and the uniqueness of the ‘Luxury Mover’ is echoed in the 19-inch forged alloy wheels, which consist of three deep-lustre “sonic” finishes.
The interior of the New Lexus LM blends luxury, comfort, and of course, "ultimate Omotenashi". Ambient colour lighting is installed throughout the cabin and features 14 various mood themes such as Healing, Relaxing, Arousing, Focusing, and Exhilarating. On the 4-seater version only, the central divider includes a transparent glass upper section which enables rear seat occupants to see the road ahead and can be opened, closed, or dimmed with the touch of a button when solitude is required, adding to the opulent atmosphere of LM. The New Lexus LM creates that sense of first-class experience with its personal touches such as its smartphone like controller, which allows you to adjust the audio system, climate control settings, seat functions, interior lighting and window blinds. In addition to creating the effect of a home cinema with Bespoke Mark Levinson 3D Surround Sound audio systems, a 48-inch widescreen HD display is located in the lower portion of the cabin divider, at the best possible viewing angle. There are three display modes available: full screen, cinema, and split left and right displays.
The New Lexus LM is fully supplied with Third Generation Lexus Safety System + active safety and driver assistance systems. These are designed to identify a greater variety of accident risks and, when necessary, give steering, braking, and drive force support to help avert or lessen an impact to ensure safety at all times. The doors, including sliding door are fully equipped with the safe exit assist feature and Lexus' smooth e-latch electronic opening system, which will alert the driver to oncoming traffic from behind and prevents accidental opening that could result in an accident.
The New Lexus LM driving performance can only be explained as comfort and quietness. A number of drive, braking, and ride components are geared towards enhancing on-board comfort. These include the first Rear Seat Comfort drive mode from Lexus, which alters suspension performance, drive torque distribution, and vibration suppression to aid in maintaining a comfortable posture by the vehicle and its occupants. To help maintain a calm and composed ride, additional features such as automatic Smart Stop braking control, Pitch Control, and an updated Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) system are used.
