Can I still buy a car?
We have a reduced number of colleagues working within the business. Please do get in touch and we will do what we can to assist. Given the current measures in place we would have to advise on a case by case basis in terms of what is possible.

I have ordered a car and awaiting delivery, when is that likely to be?
As a result of the current situation there has been disruption in the supply chain of new vehicles. This may be due to a factory closure or the ease of which vehicles can be delivered to our dealerships. We are not currently receiving deliveries of new cars and are not delivering sold vehicles. Please get in touch if this situation affects you and we will do our very best to give you an update on your vehicle.

My finance agreement is due to cease on my current vehicle, what should I do?
Please contact your finance provider, they have a team of experienced advisors who are working to support customers based on their individual circumstances. Some providers have recently updated their web sites/app's to allow a facility to chat with an advisor online or to manage your account. Please check your finance provider’s web site.

Can I take a payment holiday with my car finance repayments due to the current situation?
Your finance provider has a team of experienced advisors who are working to support customers based on their individual circumstances. Your finance provider will establish each customer's individual financial circumstances and look to obtain as much information as possible to enable them to make informed decisions on how they can best help their customers. Some providers have recently updated their web sites/app's to allow a facility to chat with an advisor online or to manage your account. Please check your finance provider’s web site and make contact.

What does the latest Government Announcements on COVID-19 mean for Motability Scheme members?
If you are coming to the end of your lease, Motability will automatically extend your lease for 6 months. There is no need for you to do anything and you will continue to be insured. A full list of Q&A’s from the Motability Scheme can be found here

My MOT is due to expire; will my MOT still be valid if I am not able to have it completed during this time?
Any vehicle requiring an MOT after 30/03/2020 has been given a 6 month extension so your vehicle will still be legal to use. As the vehicles owner you are however still obliged to keep your vehicle in a roadworthy condition. Our advice is as soon as we are fully operational; please contact us to arrange an MOT as a priority.

What happens to my warranty if my service is late due to COVID-19?
We have discussed this point with all manufacturers and they have confirmed warranties will remain valid if your service is late due to COVID-19, as long as when we are fully operational again you arrange for the service to be carried out as soon as possible.

Can I book pre-book my service for when the branch is back open?
At present we are unsure of the exact date we will reopen, however if you wish to be contacted to arrange a booking when we become fully operational then please email help@parks.uk.com and we will contact you on our return.

I am a Key Worker, how do I get my car repaired/serviced?
We are continuing to provide a continuity of service in a select number of our Aftersales departments for vital key workers. This will ensure we can keep vehicles on the road and make it easier for those people who still have to get to work in their key jobs.

Given the unprecedented nature of the current situation our phones may not always be answered by the usual department as we have significantly reduced cover. If you are a key worker and contact us we will do our best to assist with any necessary repairs you may have at the most convenient location we can. COVID-19 Update: 24 March

As the situation in regards to Coronavirus continues to evolve we have begun the process of an orderly shutdown of our dealerships as of Tuesday 24th March.

Whilst we are facilitating a number of vehicle handovers to ensure people have access to their vehicles we are now closed to other visitors.

However, we recognise the vital importance of all the key workers that are essential to the ongoing battle the country faces with Coronavirus. With this in mind we are continuing to provide a continuity of service in a select number of our Aftersales departments for key workers. This will ensure we can keep vehicles on the road and make it easier for those people who still have to get to work in their key jobs. We continue to work on a number of emergency response vehicles at this time.

As of Tuesday 24th March we will be able to provide Aftersales services to key workers at the following locations:

• East Kilbride
• Boundary Road Ayr
• Hamilton BMW
• Hillington BMW
• Glasgow BMW
• Stirling BMW
• Perth Ford
• Inverness Ford
