Efficient aerodynamics have been at the heart of every Lotus since the very beginning – and Emira is no exception. Intelligent engineering means Lotus Emira is the only car in its class to generate significant downforce, deliver outstanding performance and exceptional grip at all speeds. Inspired by the Lotus Evija, Emira features bonnet vents designed to guide air over the body to optimise aerodynamics, whilst the sculpted section cut into the door leads air flow towards the intake ahead of the rear wheel – providing air for the engine whilst also cooling it.
Vertical LED headlamps with a wing-inspired twin blade design and powerful forged 20" wheels come as standard, with specially developed tyres unique to Emira. The rear bumper houses twin exhaust pipes at either side of the number plate and incorporates an air diffuser underneath to aid downforce, whilst the Lotus wordmark sits proudly on the integrated bumper.
This is the everyday sports car that’s high on comfort and functionality. Featuring twin central cup holders, a phone storage slot, and door bins that accommodate a 500ml bottle – Emira combines practicality with modern styling. Delve deeper inside and you’ll find glovebox storage, a trinket tray, and central armrest that features USB and 12v ports, plus a console net for bottles or documents. Take a seat inside Lotus Emira and immerse yourself in the latest technology demanded by the discerning driver.
Unique to Emira is the new flat-bottomed sports steering wheel with stylish metallic spoke detail and integrated controls, putting connectivity right at your fingertips. Stay connected on every adventure via the 10.25” centrally mounted touch-screen, which features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as standard, with an additional 12.3” TFT Driver’s Display, located behind the steering wheel. All content is exclusive to Lotus and has been designed and developed by an in-house team. First Edition models will be fitted with a KEF 10-channel premium audio system which includes 3 KEF Uni-Q speakers and a fresh air subwoofer which provides a pure sound experience.
There’s no denying that everything about Emira is truly for the drivers, including the engine. Emira will offer two powertrains built to deliver blistering performance and maximum thrills. This includes the much-loved 3.5-liter Supercharged V6 and all-new 2.0-liter Turbocharged i4, the world’s most powerful production 4 cylinder engine, developed in conjunction with AMG and tuned to deliver a heart-racing 360hp.
Additionally, luggage or other large items can be stored behind the seats or in the boot to the rear of the engine. This space will take a standard-sized flight case or a set of golf clubs. The combined luggage space is 359 litres.
