The Niro Hybrid automatically switches between a highly efficient petrol engine and electric power or can also run on a combination of both. It utilises Kia’s smart regenerative power system to recharge the battery. Add to that its distinctive design with its optional contrasting Aero CPillar and you obtain an expressive yet very capable crossover.
The all-new Niro Hybrid utilises a 1.6 GDi petrol engine running seamlessly alongside a 1.32 kWh battery to provide 139bhp through the latest 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Dual 10.25-inch instrument cluster and infotainment display. Ideally positioned to emphasise its minimalist design, the cockpit features an integrated dual display for all your driving information, connectivity and entertainment needs. Take navigation to the next level with fully connected and precise turn-by-turn directions. Stay updated about weather conditions or even the score of your favourite football team. You can even install the Kia Connect app on your smartphone to further enhance your experience. The app lets you consult your vehicle’s status or plan trips in advance. It even provides ‘last-mile’ guidance, walking you to your final destination after parking your vehicle.

Shift-By-Wire Rotary Dial
Located centrally and within easy reach, the electric rotary dial operates using shift-by-wire technology, enabling precise and immediate gear shifting.

With longer and wider proportions and wheelbase, the Niro offers a whole new dimension in space and boot storage.
Second-row seatback folding.
Fold the rear seats by using the lever on the backrest of the seat and suddenly there’s up to 1,445 litres of storage capacity depending on which Niro powertrain you choose; ideal extra space for when you need to carry long or bulky items.
Smart power tailgate.
The power tailgate can be set to open automatically to a desired height. The Niro’s boot floor is specially designed so it’s more level with the boot opening sill, making loading even easier.
Head-Up Display
The Niro’s Head-Up Display projects driving information on the windscreen. It superimposes turn instructions from the navigation system over the roads ahead, lets you know if you’re drifting out of your lane and indicates which vehicle is detected ahead of you.
Lane Keep Assist
This monitors road markings to help you keep you vehicle in the centre of your lane.
