The 8 speed M Steptronic transmission fused with Drivelogic gifts multiple gear shift options to handle the leading version of the high-performance M TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine delivering 625hp. Harnessing two twin-scroll turbochargers, high-pressure injection and Valvetronic, the V8 blasts the 2.4-tonne X5 M Competition from 0 to 62mph in a meteoric 3.8 seconds. In order to assure a comfortable ride, the X5 M Competition features Active M differential and adaptive M suspension offering three driving modes; COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT+. Additionally, three differing Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) settings can be opted for.

As standard, the BMW X5 M Competition has 21”/22” M light forged alloy style 809 M wheels in Jet black with M specific blue metallic brake callipers.
