Designed with noticeably grander features than its forerunner, the BMW 2 Series Coupé has distinct BMW handling power and incredible drive comfort due to seamless 50:50 weight-distribution, longitudinally mounted engines, cutting-edge chassis technology and rear-wheel drive.
Adaptive M suspension with electronically controlled shock absorbers, adjustable sport steering, and an M sport braking system are standard on the M235i variant while M performance mechanical limited slip differential can be included as an optional extra. Initially available in two editions, the 228i and the M235i, the 2 Series Coupé features double-pivot spring strut front suspension, five-link rear suspension and the Dynamic Stability Control System that incorporates Dynamic Traction Control with an electronic locking function as standard.
On the exterior, the front-end has been designed to symbolise sheer sport with the bonnet displaying distinct contour lines that help envisage the air streams flowing across it.
A robust model with remarkable character the new BMW 2 Series Coupé has its dynamic surfaces further enhanced by the trademark BMW kidney grille.
The rear of the 2 Series Coupé is markedly different and accentuates the vehicles broad stance. The contours of the boot lid precisely frame the L-shaped taillights with LED light bars, highlighting the vehicles width while the M rear spoiler on the M235i, blends an athletic aesthetic with enhanced performance.
Accelerating down-force at high speed, the rear spoiler allows for further direct-power transmission to the road creating an exceptional driving experience.
