Every vehicle in the UK that is at least three years old is required to pass a complete MOT test each year. This is a legal regulation made by the Ministry of Transport, which drivers must abide by, and as the test certificate expires annually, it’s important to remember when your Suzuki’s next MOT should be. The full test covers the workings of over 150 parts and systems throughout the car, from the lights, horn and wipers to the seatbelts and airbags. If any component is working incorrectly or not at all, we’ll resolve the fault using genuine Suzuki parts.
Scottish drivers can visit our Suzuki MOT testing centres in East Kilbride and Coatbridge. In advance of the test, we’ll check your vehicle for issues you might not have been aware of, so that you have an idea of any work needed in advance. Upon passing the MOT, we’ll award the official VT20 test certificate to you and your Suzuki – it’s both your test receipt and a copy of the information held on the main MOT database. An additional VT32 document will show any work we’ve performed on your car, such as maintenance and repairs.
