Parts Delivery Driver

Location: East Kilbride Multi-Franchise
Hours: Full-Time (Mon-Fri)

We are looking for a Delivery Van Driver to join our team. You’ll be working within our Group Parts Operations based in East Kilbride assisting with deliveries to our customers. This role is based on a basic 40hr hour week working Monday – Friday, starting at 08.00am.

About the role:

As a Parts Delivery Driver, you will provide an efficient delivery and collection service to our trade parts customers. You will also be required to assist with light warehouse duties.Text here ...

Duties include:

✔ Check the orders for delivery to be correct against the delivery paperwork before departure.
✔ Manually load your assigned vehicle with orders to be delivered.
✔ Make sure the vehicle is loaded safely and within the legislation.
✔ Ensure goods are delivered or collected to/from our commercial customers safely, efficiently and on time.
✔ Ensure security of the vehicle and goods contained during transit.
✔ Complete all documentation as per company procedure.
✔ Adhere to company procedures and policies.
✔ Hold a full and valid UK Drivers Licence for a minimum of 3 years.

✔ Have great communication skills and the drive to succeed
✔ Be reliable, helpful and courteous.
✔ Be able to cope with a variety of customer demands and deliver exceptional levels of customer satisfaction.
✔ Be able to demonstrate a high degree of accuracy to ensure that all relevant checks and paperwork are completed for each collection or delivery.
✔ Be able to prioritise and manage time effectively.
✔ Have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
✔ Hold a full clean driving licence (essential).
✔ Have previous courier experience (preferable but non-essential).
✔ Have an understanding of the local area.
