Credit Controller

Location: Head Office - Hamilton

We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our head office Sales Ledger team based in Hamilton.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Regularly communicating with customers to maintain an up to date ledger
  • Liasing with management to ensure any problems are dealt with efficiently
  • Ensure all systems are updated regularly to help with all accounting aspects
  • Contact customers in a professional manner to obtain payment for accounts
  • Ensuring accounts are paid within the agreed credit terms

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in credit control is essential
  • Proficient in Excel and good IT skills
  • Excellent telephone manner and communication skills
  • Work well within a team environment
  • Organised and able to use own initiative to prioritise work
  • Knowledge of Kerridge system is preferred but not essential

WORKING HOURS:

  • Full time; Monday to Friday 9am-5pm

EXPERIENCE:

  • Credit Control: 2 years (essential)
