The exterior is bold with aerodynamic lines opting for a sporty, muscular appearance. The signature tigernose grill, LED daytime running lights and 17” alloy wheels. As the tinted privacy glass and chrome side window trim add elegance. The rain-sensing, speed-variable front wipers ensure maximum driver control and passenger safety in inclement weather, whilst the rear fog lights support the driver in reduced visibility. The bi-function headlights increase illumination, allowing you to see the road ahead more effectively.
Carefully crafted to ensure comfort in the Kia Rio as well as safety and connectivity which are its leading features. Its premium upholstery consists of black and red faux leather, with heated front seats and an easy-grip heated steering wheel to make winter driving easier. Electric windows, cruise control and speed limiter offer greater power and peace-of-mind for the driver, particularly when travelling over long distances. The Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS) gives an alert if the car starts to drift out of the intended lane, whilst the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system activates the brakes if there is deemed to be a risk of collision. The Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC) and Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) are added safety measures intended to make the Rio as supportive and durable as possible.
A fully connected 7” touchscreen includes SatNav and DAB Radio and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, meaning you can synchronise your smartphone via Bluetooth to access calls, texts, podcasts and your own music. With a reversing camera system – linked to the touchscreen - acts a guide to make reversing and parking more efficient. The Rio’s Smart Key allows you to start and stop the engine at a touch of a button, simply by carrying the Smart Key when you drive.
The Kia Rio comes with a selection of petrol and diesel engines. Choose a 1.0 T-GDI petrol with 118bhp, and 1.4 CRDI diesel with 89bhp. The model is capable of returning up to 80.7mpg, with CO2 emissions from 98g/km. We have various colours available including Midnight Black, Blaze Red and Sienna Brown.
