BMW are making history with a brand-new icon. The BMW R nineT 100 Years.
It is a model for absolute aficionados conveying a level of nostalgia, with only 1,923 units being released to commemorate the year in which we first had a glance at the R 32. Featuring Black storm metallic paintwork it really does represent #SoulFuel in its most exclusive form.
More exclusive than ever, The R nineT is a model that has established the Heritage world, carrying the majority of BMW’s past while remaining contemporary. Unmissable in its design is the class boxer engine which is a real factor of what keeps the nostalgic factor in this model. The Classic Chrome surface concept has been a long-running tradition in motorcycle construction, and BMW Motorrad has added this to the R nineT model combining a sophisticated interplay of paint and chrome. From the tank, the design is a combination of black with chrome and white double-lining which is complimented by knee pads and the 100 Years badge. The 100 Years Badge is the centrepiece of the R nineT 100 Years bike showing the real heritage of the range and its exclusivity. The Chrome design does not stop there, it can also be found on the seat hump adding an expensive feel to the bike. The seat bench is complimented with a two-tone combination in black/oxblood to round off the high-quality finish.
The R nineT 100 Years has numerous black components with that spectacular Classic Chrome finish, black fork tubes and air intake snorkel combine to compliments this harmoniously. Special features of the R nineT 100 Years include the 719 Classic wheels option that comes with black anodised rim rings which you can combine with the Option 719 Shadow milled parts package.
The main feature of your driving experience with the R nineT 100 will be the four-stroke boxer engine that provides 1,170 cc. Numerous highlights of this model reflect back to the original heritage mode, with updated features to make it a seamless journey for you. The adjustable suspension strut, analogue dual round instrument and “Rain” and “Road” riding modes will give you complete power for choosing how you want to travel depending on speed and agility. Experience a whole new level of performance with the R nineT 100 with maximum speed reaching over 200 km/h getting you to your destination in no time. The Power Transmission offers you a Single dry plate clutch which is hydraulically operated and within the gearbox, you can find a Claw-shifted six-speed transmission with helical-cut splines.
Featuring Dynamic Brake Control, Dynamic Traction Control and Dynamic Engine Brake Control, feel powerful driving with added safety measures giving you reassurance when you are on the road. Full LED lighting with an Adaptive turning headlight is an exclusive feature made for convenience especially driving at night but also for that extra added effect making it a showstopper at every corner. Ride Modes Pro adds a dynamic effect to your driving experience. Change to DYNAMIC, ROAD or RAIN modes when driving and experience a seamless ride.
Special Edition Features were added to the R nineT 100 Years model to create a limited edition feel. The Avus Black paint and Classic Chrome highlights combined with the 100 Years “1 of 1923” BMW Motorrad tank badge help to create that nostalgic feeling of 100 years of Motorrad.
