The MG4 EV XPOWER is designed to stand out, with orange ‘XPOWER’ brake calipers, a two-tone black roof, new 18” alloy wheels and polished trim accents. It also debuts an exclusive new Racing Green colour option.
With subtle differences such as red stitching to its interior, the MG4 EV XPOWER has a sportier feel to its standard version. Alcantara upholstery is employed on the seats and steering wheel, and its metal pedals enhance the athleticism of the car.
The dashboard is dominated by a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also features a track mode display that shows data on vehicle performance, power distribution, speed/time, G-Force, steering angle, and throttle.
The addition of the rear-mounted electric motor poses no issue to interior space, with MG4 EV XPOWER still manging a boot capacity of 289 litres.
The XPOWER retains the generous technology and equipment levels, as well as the practical hatchback features of the award-winning MG4 range. An all-new Dynamic Cornering Control System is available for the first time on an MG, featuring a locking electronic differential and Intelligent Motor Control to allow torque vectoring between all four wheels, generating maximum traction and outstanding composure in a wide range of driving conditions.
XPOWER also comes with a number of suspension upgrades, including recalibrated spring and damper tuning, stiffer anti-roll bars and sharper steering.
The MG4 EV XPOWER solidifies its place as the next generation of high-performance hatchbacks with its 64kWh battery that produces a maximum power of 435PS (320kW), accelerating from 0 - 62 mph in 3.8 seconds.
