Born from a steadfast vision to create the most aerodynamically efficient car in existence, the Speedtail design is one of pure, streamlined elegance. Allowing for an uninterrupted flow of air from nose to tail, the Speedtail adopts a host of innovations. Ground breaking flexible ailerons have been used rather than a traditional rear wing to minimise all unnecessary shut line. With a dramatically elongated tail and retractable cameras that replacing door mirrors, the Speedtail’s outline is sleek and the epitome of minimalistic elegance.

The perfect symmetry, unprecedented space and unrivalled digital craftsmanship make the Speedtail’s cockpit an exceedingly extraordinary place to sit. From layout to materials, every aspect of the interior cabin is focused on innovation. Throwing back to the first McLaren road car, the iconic McLaren F1, the Speedtail shares the same central driving position. Offering unparalleled views of the road, it creates a sense of space and balance behind the wheel.

The cabin is illuminated by LEDs integrated into the glass whilst advanced electrochromic technology darkens the windscreen at the touch of a button. No need for sun visors, less need for visual interruptions. The windscreen curves seamlessly around the cabin to meet the unique porthole. It stretches rearward - almost to the rear axle resulting in a panoramic glass canopy flooding the cabin with light and space.

Gone are the visual interruptions of a cluttered dashboard. Instead a state-of-the-art control system of touch sensitive, high definition driving displays on either side of the steering wheel. Powerful innovation stretches across the cockpit, creating an ultra-modern and innovative driver interface.

Inside the Speedtail is inspired by the world of aviation – the overhead console provides instant, distraction-free access to Active Dynamics settings to deliver pure driving focus.

Ready to break boundaries, the McLaren Speedtail pushes further than any other car. In just 12.8 seconds, that’s all it takes to reach 300 km/h from a standing start. Keep accelerating to reach a mighty top speed of 403 km/h (250mph). Faster than any McLaren road car created, outperforming even the McLaren F1. With a dry weight of only 1,430 kg and the immense power behind the 1,050PS petrol-electric powertrain, the Speedtail is honed for extraordinary, ground-breaking, performance.

Innovation runs through every aspect of the Speedtail. Introducing the most cutting-edge driving experience, reimagined in the most exceptional way.

The McLaren Speedtail will be hand-assembled at the McLaren Production Centre in Woking, with production limited to 106 vehicles*. Delivery is set to commence in 2020.
