The 570GT looks incredible with its low sleek stance and a design that screams power and dynamism. Not only is this a car that looks incredible but the design is as functional as it is thrilling. The engine is mounted behind the driver to allow for the low slung design of the front of the car producing minimal drag resistance and optimising driver visibility. The roofline in the 570GT is slightly taller than the standard 570S due to the stunning panoramic sunroof which also allows for added headroom and extra stowage.

The signature McLaren dihedral doors are made with lightweight aluminium and have been expertly shaped and contoured to channel cool air through the wing-like air intakes which have been integrated in to the rear fenders, while a soft close mechanism adds another touch of class. The 570GT’s downforce and stability have also been improved thanks to a higher lip rear spoiler design.

A rear side opening glass hatch, with tinted and heated glass and a carbon fibre frame provides extra storage space with easy access to the touring deck. The touring deck provides runners and a retaining loop which allows drivers to safely secure luggage. Drivers can choose between the option of Nappa or Alcantara leather trim to ensure the touring deck is as luxurious as the rest of the car.

The interior design offers another level of luxury and superiority and is perfect for drivers who not only want a high performance car but a feeling of comfort and refinement which is perfect for longer journeys. It’s supercar style and agility does not compromise the classic Grand Tourer design with the layout of the interior perfecting complimenting the cars breath taking performance and providing an environment of pure driving fun.

The architectural design of the 570GT interior is sophisticated and elegant providing an uncluttered space with a ‘floating’ centre console, seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system and is finished with a lavish extended leather trim. A panoramic roof floods the interior cabin with light and enhances the sense of space. Comfort is also maximised through the heated seats which have also been designed to return to your ideal driving position. Entry and exit is simple thanks to the power-adjustable steering column which moves out of the way to make getting in and out of the car much easier.

An optional rear-view camera is also available which aids with reversing and eliminates blind zones by showing the rearward images on the IRIS infotainment display screen.

Although the 570GT may provide a comfortable and relaxing environment, it is still a thoroughbred sports car with performance standards that are truly outstanding. A carbon-fibre chassis combined with lightweight aluminium body and powerful twin-turbocharged 3.8 litre V8 engine give an outstanding power-to-weight ratio which contributes to the cars breath-taking capabilities.

The all-aluminium twin turbocharged engine sits extremely low in the body of the car to allow for improved agility. A broad powerband allows torque to be served over a progressive period which encourages the driver to use all 850rpm. Efficiency is also enhanced thanks to the engine’s stop start system which shuts the engine down when the car is not in motion. Using the seven-speed seamless-shift gearbox in Auto mode allows for maximum convenience while manual gear selection can be controlled via the steering-wheel-mounted rocker-shift paddles.

Unique GT cast alloy wheels, at 19” in the front and 20”, in the back have been fitted on the car with Pirelli P-Zero tyres. These extraordinary tyres are not only designed to be used all year round for unrivalled performance and refinement, their noise cancelling foam technology also reduces unwanted noise on the road.

With the MonoCell II chassis being so strong and rigid it allows for exceptional crash protection whilst also being so light, less than 80kg, that it has an unrivalled power-to-weight ratio which aids the outstanding dynamics of the car. A lightweight composite brake system comes with aluminium hubs and iron disks which work to provide an optimum feel and modulation even in cold temperatures. An upgrade option for carbon ceramic brakes is also available.
