The new McLaren GT replaces the traditional bulk of a grand tourer to create a purposeful presence. Driven by McLaren’s ‘everything for a reason’ design ethos, the new GT’s sweeping and sculptured design lines are reimaging what the grand tourer should look like.

Distinctive lines tell a story, drawing your eye across the body and around the prominent wings. Longer than a traditional McLaren model, the new GT’s profile features balanced proportions, refined edges and a raised ground clearance - creating a dynamic road presence.

As always, the spirit of innovation is at the heart of the new McLaren GT. Our iconic Dihedral doors are the first of its kind within the grand touring market. At the new McLaren GT’s core is a bespoke MonoCell II-T carbon fibre chassis, ensuring maximum strength but minimum weight. The lightweight carbon fibre chassis combined with McLaren technology and a robust powertrain creates a Grand Tourer designed for the drive.

Unlike other Grand Tourers, the New McLaren GT features a mid-engine which is encompassed by the carbon fibre upper structure. This element allows for a spacious interior, including an additional commodious luggage bay in the rear, unique to this model. The additional 420L of luggage space within the glazed rear tailgate accommodates your luggage, including golf clubs, with ease.

Feel encompassed but never encroached by the new McLaren GT as the interior offers a refined and dynamic driving space. A glass wraparound offers 180-degrees of visibility creating a sense of openness and calm within the cabin. And the electrochromic panoramic roof provides five different levels of shade at the push of a button. The refined driving position and slim windscreen pillars create excellent visibility, creating a sensation of exceptional space.

Luxury Grand Tourers are often styled with wooden veneers. This isn’t the McLaren aesthetic. For the new McLaren GT, the McLaren design team have reimagined luxury to create a Grand Tourer for the modern era.

Luxury soft-grain leather hides supplied by Bridge of Weir Leather* and made in Scotland are paired with luxe pioneering materials such as machined aluminium; tactile Cashmere*; lightweight SuperFabric® and hidden ambient lighting to create a first-class interior.

If you are looking for something other than the standard trim, the new McLaren GT comes with an additional three cost option interiors: Pioneer*, Luxe* and Atelier*. Pioneer offers a sporty finish, benefiting from both Bridge of Weir Leather and Alcantara hides. Luxe offers classic elegance with a McLaren modern twist. If looking for something more bespoke again, Atelier offers contemporary design features including the soft and tactile Cashmere option.

Everything found within the interior cabin of the McLaren GT is made beautifully with ultimate quality - the definitive luxe yet welcoming Grand Tourer interior.

With top speeds of 203 mph (326 km/h), the McLaren 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine delivers smooth linear acceleration and a seamless response. 630Nm of torque and 620PS of power produced, create a relentless stream of power.

The Bespoke cutting edge Proactive Damping Control suspension creates ease when handling and a ride that has to be experienced. Electro-hydraulic steering offers unparalleled levels of driver engagement, responsive and effortless. With an advanced Electronic Stability Control (ESC) system, the new McLaren GT is a joy to drive in all conditions. As with every McLaren, the brake steer system is always on hand to sharpen turning and reduce understeer - giving the driver the confidence to apply power.

Developed with Pirelli, the new McLaren GT features bespoke P Zero™ tyres, built to enhance drive dynamics, steering and ride comfort all the while lowering exterior noise. Capable of driving in the coldest and wettest driving conditions, the Pirelli P Zero™ tyres take every condition in their stride.

No other Grand Tourer has the sheer supercar capabilities but everyday comfort quite like the new McLaren GT.

A seven-inch central touchscreen opens you up to a world of digital technologies. McLaren’s latest infotainment system features an array of technology including: Bluetooth; media streaming; satellite navigation. Designed to be used as intuitively as your smartphone or tablet, driver and passenger can just enjoy the drive.
