NEW FORD TRANSIT MINIBUS VAN
The exterior of the Transit Minibus is designed to maximise fuel efficiency with its aerodynamic shape and ensure the best of visibility on long journeys with high-tech lights and a large windscreen. A passenger sliding side load door is equipped with a power step to ensure ease when loading the Minibus.
Once aboard the Minibus you will see that the interior has been designed to provide car-like level of comfort, features and technologies. An abundance of storage compartment are available to both driver and passengers throughout the Minibus. Laid out with offset double seats on one side of the aisle and single seats on the other, the Minibus offers unrestricted access to passengers. The comfortably upholstered seats provide outstanding support, with integral three-point seat belts and head restraints for safety and security. Reclining seat backs and armrests are fitted to standard on Trend.
Available standard or optional safety and security features available in the Transit Minibus include, but are not limited to:
Lane Keeping Alert and Lane Keeping Aid: if you approach a lane without using indicators, the Lane Keeping Alert warns you with vibrators through the steering wheel.
Driver Alert: designed to warn you if the system detects driving behaviour that indicates a drop in alertness levels. Initially, a warning icon is displayed in the instrument cluster, followed by a warning chime if driving alertness further declines.
Adaptive Cruise Control: once a desired speed is set, Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a pre-set distance from the vehicle in front. If the sensors detect traffic slowing ahead, your vehicle will automatically slow down. When traffic has cleared, your vehicle accelerates back to cruising speed.
Curve Control: senses when a driver takes a curve too quickly, and can rapidly reduce engine torque – and apply brakes to individual wheels – to help keep the vehicle safely under control.
