A bold evolution of BMW’s touring icon, the R 1300 RT blends grand-tourer comfort with sporty precision. Refreshed from the ground up, its 1,300 cc boxer twin delivers stronger performance and dynamics than ever. The new R 1300 RT redefines what it means to ride in total control.
Clear, purposeful lines convey adventure from every angle. A lighter fairing and the new octagonal full-LED headlight define its confident visage, while electrically adjustable windscreens and sculpted panels balance wind protection with touring agility.
Designed for long-haul comfort, the R 1300 RT offers selectable seat heights and an upright riding position. The 10.25-inch TFT display, Keyless Ride, USB-C charging, and ergonomic controls deliver clarity and rider convenience.
Standard tech includes Dynamic ESA suspension, heated grips, three ride modes (Rain, Road, and Eco), engine drag-torque control, Full Integral ABS Pro, cornering ABS, and Telelever EVO front-end geometry. Available upgrades include Riding Modes Pro (with Dynamic/Dynamic Pro), Dynamic Chassis Adaption (DCA), Headlight Pro, Audio Pro, and Advanced Cruise Control.
Underneath the sleek exterior lies BMW’s most powerful boxer yet. The all-new 1,300 cc boxer twin produces 145 hp at 7,750 rpm and 149 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. With a six-speed shift-claw gearbox, smooth power curve and long-distance refinement, the R 1300 RT powers to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, and cruises effortlessly beyond 120 mph.
