The BMW S 1000 XR is lighter, faster and more versatile than ever. The engine is centred around the high-performance engine of the new RR and enhanced for the XR to ensure perfect long-distance performance. Other optimisations include special camshaft profiles and designated manifolds which deliver impressive torque from the middle and the widest usable speed range in its class. The longer gearbox in the upper gears guarantees smooth movement which you can hear and feel. The S 1000 XR is more dynamic as its lighter- weighing 223kg. Expect improved acceleration, higher agility, shorter breaking distances and easier manoeuvring.
Thanks to design accents such as the PRO LED headlight, fierce front, sharp lines and short tail, the prominent design of the S 1000 XR oozes racetrack looks. The adjustable windshield ensures you can keep your eyes on the road, and odometer, without your helmet shaking.
