Hyundai Self-Charging

A Hyundai Self-Charging Hybrid (also known as HEV or Hybrid) uses an electric motor and a traditional combustion engine, to provide more efficient driving on the roads. The electric motor is used to provide a boost to the engine during acceleration, and in certain situations can power the car completely. Instead of recharging, the battery gets its power via regenerative braking when the vehicle slows or decelerates.
