The R 1250 RT is built for touring: powerful on the road and relaxed at the destination. Showcasing its legendary BMW ShiftCam Boxer engine, the R 1250 RT pulls just as powerfully over country roads as it does over winding mountain terrain. The new design features sleek and enclosed LED headlights, along with a more compact body, creating a dynamic ride with an even larger field of view. Complete with an impressive patented air duct, the new windscreen ensures forward suction and air movement on the upper body are reduced, giving you that extra comfort mile after mile. The two-part front-wheel cover also supports the aerodynamics and reduces dirt on you and your bike - especially in the rain.
Its front end may feature a new, more dynamic design, but, with a wide range of additional features such as the extra-large 10.25" TFT display and Active Cruise Control (ACC), the R 1250 RT provides extra comfort on your journey. The new, large 10.25" TFT screen combines all the instruments of the R 1250 RT, plus useful features such as navigation and connectivity. While the new Active Cruise Control (ACC) riding assistance system allows you to set your desired speed and distance to vehicles in front easily, by pressing a button on the handlebars, allowing you to relax and enjoy the journey even more.
