RENAULT WINS ELECTRIC VEHICLE MANUFACTURER OF THE YEAR AT THE GREEN FLEET AWARDS 2017

More good news for Renault as they have recently been awarded with the Electric Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year at the Green Fleet Awards 2017 in Coventry! Each year the Green Fleet Awards acknowledges organisations that have introduced low emission vehicles and new ways of saving fuel into their range.

Editor of Green Fleet magazine, Angela Pisanu commented; “The winner this year has had their experts come up with new battery technology that has enabled them to increase the range on their small car and van EV offering…. With the capability to go for 250 miles on a single charge in the car, and 170 in the van, they are set to revolutionise the EV market with a new larger offering in 2018 too.”

The Renault ZOE benefitted from vast enhancements in 2017 with a new battery, improving the range by up to 50% and returning up to 250 miles. The Chameleon charger available on the ZOE, enables drivers to get a charge from 0% to 80% in just 60 minutes. The Renault Kangoo Z.E.33 was revamped recently, the most notable enhancement was the increase in the range capability to 170 miles (NEDC), this was up 60% from the last model. These improvements on the Kangoo Z.E.33 give it the furthest range of any electric van currently on the market.

There has never been a better time to be a customer within the electric vehicle market, especially with the Renault Electric Vehicle range on offer!
