The McLaren 720S is the most innovative supercar ever produced by McLaren and is the result of the brands endless quest to push the limits of possibility. The design of the 720S was inspired by the Great White Shark, sleek and beautiful but a ferociously good hunting machine. The result is an exquisite design with smooth flowing exterior lines which manipulate onrushing air, reducing drag and keeping the engine cool. An extraordinary glass canopy floods the interior cabin with light and offers superb visibility.
The 720S is built upon the MonoCage II structure, a one-piece carbon fibre tube that was built upon the innovative technology first seen in the magnificent McLaren P1. This Carbon Fibre MonoCage II is unique to the supercar category and offers unrivalled rigidity thanks to its high-strength and low weight. The 720S is the first McLaren car to use the MonoCage II structure which extends over the engine bay and incorporates wider door apertures which open into the roof. Drivers can enjoy the full potential and excitement of the cars driving dynamics knowing that this cell offers outstanding protection for both you and your passengers.
The twin-hinged dihedral doors on the McLaren 720S are one of the cars most alluring features. Like a work of art, they majestically open forwards and up, allowing for effortless entry to and exit from the car.
The 720S is powered by a new, mighty M840T engine with 720PS which sits at the heart of the car. When the start button is pressed, the potent growl of the twin-turbo V8 engine will get your excitement flowing. Every inch of the engine has been developed to ensure maximum power, sharper responsiveness and improved fuel efficiency are achieved.
In order to handle the immense power of the 720s engine, an equally Proactive Chassis Control II was developed. This chassis gives drivers incredible ability both on the road and the track. An array of sensors enable the 720S to read the road ahead and choose the perfect setting to maximise grip on the road producing breathtaking control and allowing you to push the car to its absolute limit.
The interior cabin is the most luxurious cabin designed by McLaren to date. The interior has been designed around the driver with maximum comfort and supreme quality visible in every detail.
