The Honda Civic 4 Door combines sophisticated styling, a slick interior and a power yet efficient road performance to produce an unmistakeably modern driving experience.
The exterior of the Civic 4 Door is elegant and distinctive, with its aerodynamic qualities clear at first glance. The athletic body frame is made up of contrasting smooth and sharp lines that run from front to back giving the car a high class feel, further enhanced by the electric heated door mirrors on either side. The sculpted bonnet includes powerful LED headlights and a classic chrome grille which, alongside the choice of 16 or 17” alloy wheels, give the car a sporting quality.
The interior of the Civic 4 Door has impressive attention-to-detail throughout. The seats – both front and rear – are heated and made from premium leather upholstery, as well as being specially contoured to improve comfort and increase space. The large boot ensures a generous 519 litres of space, whilst the electric power steering makes driver handling as effortless as possible. There are a variety of Honda Advanced Safety Systems, including Cross Traffic Monitor, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.
The ergonomic cockpit includes the unique Honda Connect infotainment system, comprising a 7” touchscreen which connects – via Bluetooth or USB – to your smartphone, allowing access to your calls, texts and personal music library. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both compatible, as is Garmin navigation. The Driver Information Display gives an insight into key driving information at the touch of a button, whilst the Brake Hold function keeps the car stationary without having to manually apply the parking brake. Keyless entry and the start/stop provide further support for the driver, with climate control allowing for different air-con settings for each side of the car. The wireless phone charger, conveniently situated within reach of driver and front passenger, demonstrates the latest in efficient, in-car technology.
The Civic 4 Door is available in 3 grades – SE, SR and EX – and has the option of petrol and diesel engines, such as the 1.0 VTEC Turbo and 1.6 i-DTEC varieties. The petrol engine returns a combined cycle fuel consumption of approximately 58.9mpg, and CO2 emissions of around 110g/km. The diesel variant returns up to 83.1mpg, with CO2 emissions of around 91g/km. It is available in a selection of colours, including Rallye Red, Crystal Black Pearl and Polished Metal Metallic.
