The Ministry of Transport's regulations state that all cars over three years old must take and pass a full MOT test each year. This is a legal requirement for your Fiat and the test needs to be retaken at the same time annually, so you should be aware of when your certificate is due to expire. The MOT test checks and confirms the performance and safety of more than 150 systems, parts and items throughout the vehicle, from the wipers and lights to the engine, gearbox and suspension system. Should there be any issues with your Fiat, one of our fully qualified technicians will resolve the problem using genuine Fiat parts and their specialist knowledge.
All of our Park's Fiat locations are official MOT test centres for the convenience of local motorists. Before starting the test, we'll do a pre-check of your vehicle to identify any underlying problems that you might not have noticed – whether they would lead to your Fiat failing an MOT test or not. Once your car has passed, we'll award you the official VT20 certficate, which contains the information that will be held on the central MOT database and is also your receipt for the test. If any servicing or maintenance was needed for your Fiat, this will also be recorded on the VT32 document.
