The BMW R 1250 RS is back and better than ever before. The model now comes packed full of the latest innovation to deliver the ultimate sporty, dynamic touring experience, every time.
The BMW R 1250 RS offers sports touring in style. Choose from two model variants – Sport & Triple Black – to find the bike that matches your style. The Sport model variant includes a Light white non-metallic/Racing blue metallic/Racing red body finish, with a Light white non-metallic frame, and gold front/rear brake callipers. Whereas the Triple Black model variant includes a Blackstorm metallic body colour, agate grey frame, and gold front/rear brake callipers. Both style variants have been designed with performance in mind and are guaranteed to make a bold statement on and off the road.
The R 1250 RS features the legendary 2-cylinder boxer engine that provides instant power on the go. This includes an engine capacity of 1,254 cm3 and generates an impressive 136 hp. The BMW ShiftCam technology helps to deliver powerful performance across the entire speed range, whilst also offering outstanding fuel consumption and smooth running. Also, benefit from the new ECO riding mode and Dynamic Traction Control (DTC) as standard, both designed to provide a safer, more efficient riding experience at all times.
The BMW R 1250 RS comes equipped with a TFT colour display, which features integrated arrow navigation, extensive connectivity, and excellent readability, to help you stay connected on the go. The intelligent TFT display comes with a choice of customised screen displays, including the “Sport” Core Screen, which provides real-time information, the current and maximum lean angle as well as control interventions such as ABS Pro or DTC. New standard features also include redesigned LED turn indicators and the iconic daytime running lights, providing both style and safety on the roads.
The redesigned R 1250 RS offers two different sockets as standard – The original 12-volt on-board power socket, plus an additional USB-A socket with a 5-volt power supply. This allows you to charge electronics on the go by using a cable adaptor, to ensure you always stay connected. In addition to this, you will also receive Intelligent Emergency Call as a standard feature to provide rapid assistance in case of emergencies.
