Following on from the success of the W12 Flying Spur, the V8 derivative will extend the appeal of this model further as Bentley open the door to world's best luxury sedan.
Designed to develop on the success of its predecessor, the Flying Spur V8 presents an array of additional extras including an all-new sculptured exterior with increased width, a more vertical front face as well as 19" classic alloy wheels, a choice of seven exterior paints, jewel LED headlamps/tail lamps and front fender wing vents. Finished in black with a black “wing" insert, the front bumper grilles alongside the figure of eight chromed exhaust finishers signify further subtle styling changes that set the V8 apart from its flagship W12 sibling. The Flying Spur is now lower, wider, and more modern with a sharper and stronger body style giving it a more powerful presence.
Bentley's renowned 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine develops 507 PS (500 bhp / 373 kW) and 660 Nm of torque via an 8-speed quick shift transmission, powering the Flying Spur V8 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds (0-100 km/h in 5.2 seconds) producing a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).
With these impressive performance figures the Flying Spur V8 comes with a fuel range of 520 miles (840 km), as a result of its highly efficient engine that includes cylinder deactivation, intelligent thermal management and electrical recuperation upgrades to comply with the latest EU6 emission standards.
Accompanying its unique blend of sculpted, sleek and exquisite exterior craftsmanship, the V8 comes complete with a suite of advanced on-board technology and hand-crafted interior. Superior soundproofing, increased space, a new connected wood veneer waistrail, a single-piece-three-person rear seat, a single front armrest and monotone interior colour split all bring further refinement to the interior cabin while an innovative rear passenger touch screen remote console controls the cars climate features and infotainment systems through MMI technologies.
Customers wishing to upgrade their Flying Spur V8 can opt for the Flying Spur V8 Mulliner. The Mulliner Driving Specification adds diamond quilting, a knurled gear lever, drilled alloy pedals, alongside indented leather headlining.
