Saab MOTs

Under regulations set by the Ministry of Transport, all vehicles in the UK that are at least three years old must take and pass a full annual MOT test. This is a legal requirement for all drivers and, as the test certificate expires after 12 months, you’ll need to know when your car should be retested.

During an MOT, more than 150 parts and systems throughout the model are checked, from the engine and gearbox to the safety features and in-car technology. We’ll fix any faults that we find using genuine Saab parts, to keep your vehicle road-legal and running at its best.

At Park’s Saab, we proudly provide an official MOT test centre within our dealership for the convenience of local drivers. Before starting the test, we’ll pre-check your car to flag up any issues you might not have been aware of – whether or not these would have resulted in a pass or fail. Once your model has passed, you’ll receive the official VT20 certificate, which is a receipt for the test and also contains the information held on the central MOT database. We’ll also provide a VT32 document if we’ve performed any essential work and repairs on your Saab.

To book your Saab MOT at a date and time that suits you, or for more information about the test centre at our dealership, contact us at Park’s in Ayr today.
