Longer, lower, wider and significantly more spacious than its predecessor, the Mégane now carries a C-shaped headlight signature and horizontal graphic on the rear that accentuates the cars dominant stance and introduces a mature look that is notably different in character from the other models in the Renault range.

Those interested in GT-Line Nav models will build on the same kit levels but will add ulterior styling details from the GT spec. The flagship GT Nav trim comes with a sportier exterior look and the majority of the cars option boxes are already included as standard. The engines on the GT-Line variant include a 1.6-litre diesel engine with 128bhp and a 1.6-litre THP turbo petrol with 202bhp.
The Mégane is available with the option of a six-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while selected petrol engines will come with a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
