Park’s Land Rover Support Gaiety Theatre Re-Launch

This weekend saw the grand re-opening of the Gaiety Theatre in Ayr. A £2.4 million makeover has transformed the theatre and the official opening took place on Saturday with a full day of fun including a street parade and back stage tours.

The theatre selected their very own ‘community champion’, Liz Smillie, who was chauffer driven to the event by Park’s Land Rover to cut the ribbon and officially re-open the theatre. Liz was chosen from 1000 nominees to perform the historic duties due to her selfless work as a platelet blood donor.

Our luxurious Range Rover Evoque Convertible was used during the street procession to chauffer Liz to the event, starting with a parade down the High Street in Ayr and arriving at the theatre for the ribbon cutting. With the sun shining the convertible roof was down on the Evoque with Liz was able to soak up the atmosphere and wave to the crowds.

We hope that Liz and everyone who attended the event had a fantastic day.
