Showcasing major advances in fuel efficiency, comfort, connectivity, convenience and safety, the fourth generation Kia Sportage has grown increasingly more attractive with its combination of good looks, great value and seven year warranty as standard. Available in 18 variants and now with a GT-Line version, the Kia Sportage range has not only become more stylish but also progressively sportier than previous. A broader shoulderline gives the car a more muscular look, while at the rear, the chrome strip links the redesigned light clusters. A metallic rear skidplate also appears, and a generous use of chrome for the exhausts, lower door trim and roof bars to create an ultra-athletic look on this luxurious model.
On the exterior, a redesigned Tiger Nose front end, a more steeply raised windscreen and a sloping window line ensure the newest model looks fresh with a distinct design while the interior cabin sees some of the most advanced technologies obtainable.
With exception of the entry-level grade, all versions of the Kia Sportage now include a 7 or 8-inch touch-screen satellite navigation system linked to Kia Connected Services powered by TomTom® which delivers full European mapping and detailed live traffic updates as well as speed camera, weather and local services information.
Offering more than you would expect, even Grade ‘1’ Kia Sportage models come with 16-inch alloy wheels, smart black cloth upholstery with a grey headlining, electrically adjustable door mirrors, a premium feel leather-trimmed steering wheel and gearshifter and electric windows as standard while the more high spec models further up the range include features such as a Smart Park Assist System, Lane Keep Assist, High Beam Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Blind Spot Detection and a Smart Power Tailgate.
Through a combination of superb connectivity and more cutting-edge and innovative technologies on the inside and eye-catching revisions to the exterior design including exposed dual exhausts, LED fog lights and extensive suspension on top of an improved steering system, the Sportage benefits from improvements in precision handling for a more refined and smoother drive.
The Fourth Generation model is also up to 7mpg more economical, with CO2 reductions of as much as 29g/km – making it more cost efficient and environmentally friendly.
