Transit Connect

Built for tough work and long days, the Transit Connect possesses tremendous load space features, state-of-the-art technologies, and a dynamic style. Available in Van, Double-Cab-in-Van and Kombi body styles, the Transit Connect has multiple combinations of load areas available for whatever fits your needs best.

The Ford Transit Connect is styled with purpose with improved aerodynamics for greater fuel efficiency and high-tech lights for greater visibility. To lower operating costs, the van’s component parts have been designed to be easily serviced and replaced. The contemporary styling makes this a van you will feel proud to park outside of your home at the end of the day.

Both practical and comfortable, the car-like interior is created to place every control and storage compartment close at hand. With available DAB Radio and Bluetooth, courtesy interior lighting, front overhead storage, and electric windows, the Transit Connect allows for a comfortable journey to any job site.

The load-through bulkhead allows for a long items up to 3m long in a short wheelbase, and up to 3.4m long in a long wheelbase to be carried. The bulkhead has a flip-up hatch at the bottom, through which you can slide long items over the folded front passenger seat and into the front passenger area.

The Transit Connect is available with a dual front passenger seat allowing for you to seat up to three people. The dual passenger seats has fold-flat functionality allowing for the centre to be folded down to create a writing space, and flips up to reveal a storage box.

Tie-down points mounted on the side-wall help to keep the cargo secure and the load floor clear and are both DIN and ISO compliant. Additionally, there are also body side fixings mounted at both waist and shoulder height, each rated at 30kgs load.

Rubber flooring options help to keep the cab clear and protects the load floor from knocks and scrapes on your van from daily working life.

New loadspace lamps are now fitted as standard for a brighter-lit cargo area. LED lighting can be specified if required.

Available standard or optional safety and security features available in the Transit Connect include, but are not limited to:

Hill Start Assist: a system that temporarily stops you rolling backwards when making a hill start. It works by maintaining pressure to the braking system for an extra 2.5 seconds, giving you more time and control as you move your foot from brake pedal to accelerator; Electronic Stability Control (ESC): ESC monitors your van’s progress, senses any deviations from your chosen driving line and automatically corrects your road position; Load Adaptive Control (LAC): LAC senses the weight being carried in the vehicle and adjusts braking inputs via the ESC system to maximise driver control.
