Fiat 500 Vintage ’57 Launch at Geneva Motor Show

The 2015 Geneva Motor Show is to be the backdrop for the launch of Fiat's distinctive Fiat 500 Vintage '57. The Fiat 500 line originally made its debut in 1957, and this contemporary version has been designed as an explicit homage to the vehicle's family roots.

Billed as a modern interpretation of the 1957 Fiat 500, the 2015 model features a pastel blue finish alongside a white roof for contrast, a rear spoiler, an antenna, and stylish mirror covers. It will ride upon 16-inch vintage alloy wheels, which have been designed specifically to reflect the original design, while also being updated for modern domestic use. Also included are historical Fiat logos, placed on both the front and rear of the vehicle.

Inside, the historic logo is used once again on the steering wheel, which is set against the retro appeal of the white dashboard. Tan-coloured Poltrona Frau leather seats are embellished with ivory leather 'half-moon' inserts, as well as tan ‘500’ embroidery.

Despite the historic look of the Fiat 500 Vintage '57 both inside and out, it will still contain the newest technology that customers have come to enjoy from Fiat. This includes air conditioning as standard, Fiat's Blue&Me infotainment technology, seven airbags, and drive safety assist technology such as ESP.
