The BMW Z4 Roadster combines sporting dynamics, stunning design, luxurious comfort and effortless sophistication under one roof. Its elegant yet purposeful exterior maintains the sleek roadster appearance and its iconic kidney grille show its heritage.
Thanks to innovative technology such as Drive Dynamic Control, and the first Retractable Hard-Top to feature on a BMW Roadster, it is the discerning choice for year-round driving pleasure.
The new Z4 offers both ride comfort and dynamic poise. It allows the driver to alter the throttle and steering response, level of ride comfort (with adaptive M Sport suspension), Dynamic Stability Control response and, on automatic or Double Clutch Transmission models, gear change times to suit your driving style. Different settings are provided; the standard function is designed to optimise ride comfort over longer journeys, while the push of a button sharpens responses for a truly thrilling drive.
The cabin of the Z4 represents the epitome of sporting luxury. The significantly increased glasshouse and rear window ensure an extremely light and airy interior, and there is also practical storage space. Select plush leather upholstery with SunReflective Technology and reflective colour pigments which help the seats to stay cooler in the sun, giving you a more comfortable open-air drive.
The latest Z4 model, keeping its classic roadster styling, now features a new elongated bonnet, Xenon headlights which include LED corona rings, prominent body lines, an update to the side grille and eyebrows with extra chrome detailing.
The BMW Z4 can be specified with a range of powerful and efficient six-cylinder petrol engines, the sDrive23i, sDrive30i and sDrive3. Each features BMW EfficientDynamics technologies as standard which in the Z4 means brake energy regeneration, electric power steering, low rolling resistance tyres, optimum shift indicator and stop-start that combine to improve performance at the same time as reducing fuel consumption and lowering C02 emissions. The range has also been updated to include a new entry-level sDrive18i twin-turbo petrol engine – a derivative of the of the 2.0 litre 4 cylinder engine that is found in the sDrive20i and the sDrive28i, as well as a brand new Pure Design Traction option pack and small advances to the efficiency of every engine across the range. The introduction of the sDrive18i has presented a more accessible and affordable way to own this stylish, rear-wheel-drive BMW sports car.
The elegant two-seater has been fitted with high-gloss black elements around the control displays and air vents, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth, USB connectivity, air conditioning, a multi-function steering wheel, improved quality switchgears and buttons, soft-close tailgate and a generous offering of interior material finishes. As standard across the range we also see the Drive Dynamic Control built-in to allow those driving the Z4 to choose between Normal, Sport or Sport+ mode, where Sport modes produce sturdier steering, more precise throttle responses, and a more driver-focused feel.
